Karii Africa - Terms & Conditions

1. About Karii Africa

Karii Africa is a peer-to-peer travel and delivery platform that connects individuals (“Senders” and “Travelers”) who wish to send or carry personal items safely and affordably.


Karii Africa does not transport, store, or handle packages directly. We provide a digital platform to facilitate communication, trust, and coordination between users.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website or app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Karii Africa and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under applicable law.

3. Role of Karii Africa

Karii Africa acts solely as an intermediary that provides a connection between Senders and Travelers.


We are not responsible for:

  • The content, accuracy, or legality of items sent or received.

  • Any loss, theft, damage, or delay of packages.

  • The personal conduct or actions of any user.
     

Users acknowledge that all arrangements are made at their own risk, and Karii Africa assumes no liability for the outcome of any transaction or interaction between users.

4. User Responsibilities

When using Karii Africa, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in your profile and listings.

  • Respect all applicable customs, postal, and transportation laws.

  • Avoid sending or transporting prohibited or restricted items (see Section 5).

  • Communicate respectfully and complete agreed deliveries or transactions in good faith.

Travelers agree that they are solely responsible for items they choose to carry and for ensuring compliance with border and airline regulations.

5. Prohibited Items

You may not send, carry, or list any of the following items:

  • Illegal drugs, narcotics, or controlled substances

  • Weapons or ammunition

  • Explosives, hazardous materials, or flammable goods

  • Stolen goods or counterfeit products

  • Currency, cash, or precious metals

  • Live animals or perishable food

  • Items restricted under local or international law

Karii Africa reserves the right to suspend or remove users who violate this policy.

6. Verification & Trust

Users may be required to provide identity verification such as government-issued ID, passport, or proof of address.


Karii Africa may verify but does not guarantee the identity or background of any user.

7. Payments and Credits

When applicable, users may purchase and use Karii Credits to facilitate transactions.
Karii Credits are non-refundable and may be used only within the platform.
Karii Africa does not guarantee the completion of transactions or delivery outcomes.

8. Limitation of Liability

Karii Africa is not liable for:

  • Any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from use of the platform.

  • Loss or damage to items, financial loss, or disputes between users.

  • Acts or omissions of travelers, senders, or third parties.

Your use of the platform is entirely at your own risk.

9. Dispute Resolution

Karii Africa encourages users to resolve disputes directly and respectfully.
If issues remain unresolved, Karii Africa may, at its discretion, assist with mediation but is not obligated to resolve disputes.

 

In case of persistent misconduct, Karii Africa reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts.

10. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms,

  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities, or

  • Harm the integrity or reputation of Karii Africa or its community.

11. Data & Privacy

Your personal data will be collected and processed according to our Privacy Policy.


We will never sell your information. Data is used solely to operate, improve, and secure the platform.

12. Modifications

Karii Africa may update these Terms at any time.
We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notice.
Your continued use of Karii Africa after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Toronto, Ontario.
